A man by the name Lawan Faro who lives in Yola, the state capital of Adamawa state in Nigeria has made a promise to commit suicide if President Buhari fails to resign within the next 12 hours. Lawan Faro climbed a 40-metre tall billboard hanger and has forewarned to jump down if President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria does not resign.
Lawan said the poverty rate in Nigeria has increased since Buhari came into power which has made life unbearable for its citizens and he will only come down if the People's Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar assures him that he would take over from Incumbent President Buhari come 2019
He said in an interview with Sahara reporters " I think it's time for Buhari to give way for someone like Atiku Abubakar to lead us out of the present hardship. I will remain here for 12 hours to show my discontent and someone not less than Atiku must come here to assure me that this government must be sacked in the forthcoming election come 2019"
Although, there are chants by a large number persons who have gathered at the bottom of the billboard hanger chanting "Sai Baba Buhari"
