The Lagos State Police Command has arrested and paraded some of the hoodlums who invaded and looted ShopRite outlets in Lagos during the brief Xenophobia crisis.

Taking advantage of the poor organization and co-ordination of the planned protests against the exnophobic killings of Nigerians in South Africans; the looters were able to hijack the protests and turn in into something more sinister.

In a statement released by the police, 112 of those arrested were found in possession of stolen items and have been charged to court.

Gbolahan Olugbemi, the Area Commander, Sangotedo, disclosed that a total of 125 suspects have been apprehended in connection with the attacks on ShopRite outlets, he also claimed that 90% of the stolen goods have been recovered.
