A former Boko Haram commander trained in driving vehicles armed with anti-aircraft weapons was captured by the Nigerian Army.
Bukar-China, also identified as Abdullahi Bukar Modu, was arrested on Wednesday, along with nine other members of the Pulka party in #BornoState, during an Army and Civilian Joint Task Force clearance operation.
"One of the captured terrorists, Alhaji Bukar Modu alias Modu China, was declared wanted on NA's wanted list Serial 89 in a statement, the military said.
Modu admitted that he had engaged four years ago in numerous group attacks including the sacking of Bama Town in Borno State.
